OUR PROJECTS

Discover how BUKÈL works

Kalinga

Kalinga is both a tribal community and a landlocked province in the landlocked province in the heart of the Cordillera region in the northern Philippines. Nestled between magnificent mountains, these people live a modest life, relying on the rhythms of nature for agricultural production and continuing to practise their ancestral tribal culture.

Rainbow house

Casa Arcobaleno was born spontaneously during the Covid pandemic in 2019. Children and young people used to visit the grounds where Laura and Arnel resided, and they always found something there that intrigued them: a musical instrument, a game, a book, colours.
Currently at Rainbow House, the children are offered karate training and time for music, play and sharing.

Collaboration with communities and schools in remote regions

Many communities in the Kalinga province live in remote and inaccessible places. One of BUKÈL's missions is to support children and young people in these remote villages through partnerships with schools. Art and music workshops are usually offered.

Assistance to families or individuals in difficulty.

We usually prefer to support micro-projects where we stimulate the active participation of people so that they can find their own socio-economic balance. It happens, however, that in some particular situations, we offer direct financial or material help to individuals or families in emergency conditions.
